Thank you for reminding me of a great song. You wrote, ..."One of his tracks in one of my all time favourites - Glen Campbell’s Wichita Lineman." I then had to look that song up to learn to play it on my guitar. There are some tricky cords so it will take a while. Great lyrics - “And I need you more than want you / and I want you for all time.”
This was a gorgeous read on a Sunday evening. Will be listening to Greg on Desert Island Discs on my commute tomorrow morning - thanks for the recommendation. I've been enjoying going on my bike lately too after a bit of a hiatus, there's nothing quite like it on a sunny day, it makes me grin like I'm an eight year old BMX champion too!! xx
