Some weeks the glimmers come thick and fast and everything feels like it’s coming up roses. Other weeks, well, you gotta really look for them…
Sunday Glimmers is a round up of things that have made my week, the stuff of life that brings joy, hope, a smile or a jolt of inspiration. It’s an extra post for members, but I hope everyone will read it at least once with the freebie trial button thingy.

A stolen glance
By far the best moment of my week, was a simple look from my child, in the car as we drove along, windows down, music blaring.
We were singing our hearts out, the car seats hot from the heat of the day. At the chorus, we really went for it and as I stole a glance, big blues eyes watched me, waiting to lock on in the middle of the song, together, to the words we know so well. That tiny glance sparkled. It brimmed with everything I needed to know. Kids don’t always seem like they think too much of you, do they? But I gotta tell you, in that moment, in that look, I felt like all my parenting dreams had come true. My kid, happy, lost in the moment, with me.
Shall we say, the Aurora Borealis?
